A flight of 16 locks from Marple Aqueduct to the top of Marple where the canal branches. I was delighted to see this one today as I'd run up from the bottom and this was the first time I've made them all in one go!
The imposing Goyt Mill - up for sale if you have £6 Million burning a hole in your pocket. I only have £5.9 Million sadly so am out of luck. Home to 80+ local businesses. And no doubt soon to be luxury apartments that no-one can afford.
