「This property is right by the ferry making it the most convenient choice one could make. The rooftop terrace offers great sunset views and the restaurant on the terrace serves tasty Indian cuisine that is top notch. The lobby has a fountain that id want in my own home. I love the paintings on each floor the pool area is filled with greenery and has lots of space. Id highly reccomend this property to anyone visting Zanzibar」

「Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. 「We stayed in an upscale room and was fabulous. This hotel is part museum and the antiques and style make it interesting, staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Courtyard pool was very nice. No elevator but would recommend the upper floor rooftop. 」

「Booked superior seaview room and seaview window is at toilet which is higher than normal people eye level. Double check if breakfast is included in the booking in hotels.com as the website offer two breakfast option with different price which is a bit confusing. Tried to contact hotel to confirm via booking website and official hotel email address a few time but no luck.」

「I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect, it was in the heart of stone town. Felt very safe, also felt like you were living like a local. The room was very spacious. The food was great. Breakfast had many options & the food from the restaurant was a 10/10. There’s also many things to do in the area such as shop, museums or even restaurants. 」
