「we did not stay at the Bear Inn. We arrived there and there were no rooms available. Three other couples had arrived with the same result. The owner does not have an account with hotels.com, and the picture on the email shows the Bear Inn room as it was when the current owner took over some time back.This is a scam and we have spent a considerable amount of time getting our money back with a derisory offer of £10 for our trouble.」

「Lovely location in a charming village, close to Castle Combe. We had a drink in the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were great. The bed & pillows were excellent, and the host quickly supplied the top sheet we asked for. Fast wifi ticked the box. A little milk for tea or coffee would have been good, also the shower gel container was empty, but we would have no reservations in recommending the Neeld Arms for a stay!」

「Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome

「Very clean and pleasant room with lots of space and amenities. Wonderful guest lounge with all round beautiful views. Attentiveness Welcome and helpfulness of owners. Nothing was too much trouble. 」
