Everything was on point with this rental. Hosts were communicative, location is great for skiing and plenty of room for a large crew. Hot tub is a nice amenity after a long day of skiing and a full kitchen made breakfasts easy. Would rent again.

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed space. This was our second year in a row at Chabot Haus, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in Stowe, regardless of season.

This home was the perfect spot for a friends’ getaway! It’s close to town yet feels wonderfully secluded in the woods. The setting is beautiful, with a gorgeous backyard area to relax and enjoy nature. The house was fully furnished and stocked with everything we needed. Jamie was prompt, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We had an excellent experience—10/10 recommend!

Stowe Family Wedding

Three branches of our family staying together for our oldest grandson’s wedding. We were able to enjoy four days of celebrations together. Family came from Massachusetts, Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut. Visits from family from Washington easily enjoyed by all. The kids enjoyed the hot tub . Very comfortable stay.

Wonderful location, hot tub and solo fire pit.

Very convenient location to hikes around Stowe area. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use and Solo fire pit was wonderful. Didn’t spend much time in home besides sleeping. Saw a bear and deer right outside the home. Great stay.

Fun family spring ski week

We had a great time at Jamie’s house. Check-in was a breeze and our host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The house was well-equipped and very comfortable, with a great location close to skiing and town. Would definitely recommend!

Great House for a Stowe Ski Trip

House is setup wonderfully for families with great bedrooms and a perfect living area on the first and second floors. The downstairs fireplace was the perfect spot to dry mounds of wet ski clothes every night!

Awesome house in the heart of Stowe

I take winter break every year with my family and two other families (6 adults and 6 kids). This house was perfect for our group and conveniently located near Stowe mountain and a lot of great restaurants and breweries. I highly recommend if you're looking for a stay in the area. The house is exactly as described, very clean, and well stocked. Jamie was super responsive to our questions and made some solid eating recommendations (Doc Ponds and Von Trapp). We had a blast and would love to come back and try it out over the summer for some hiking.

Cozy Chalet

Wonderful experience staying at this property . It was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever experienced . The kitchen was well stocked and very organized. I was surprised at all the paper supplies provided that I usually have to bring. The host was very responsive to all my questions. We had a snowstorm while there and there were plenty of shovels to clear the path to the hot tub which my family loved. If I had any suggestions it would to be have an additional couch on the second floor and a larger dining room table. You definitely need an 4 wheel drive as this house is at the top of an hill. We had a wonderful time and strongly recommend this rental.

Midweek ski getaway

Came up midweek to get some skiing in at Stowe. Couldn’t have been happier with our rental. Great communication from Jamie. Place was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Service came and plowed/shoveled the steps and walkways. Will definitely look to rebook in future.

One of best we've stayed in!

WOW, we were beyond impressed with the comfort, cleanliness & attention to detail in Chabot Haus. Communication was excellent (even grocery store recs), smooth arrival, everything was in working order, beds were very comfortable (multiple heating ones was nice!), so nicely decorated and labeled for ease. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub, mini ping pong table, bumper pool, etc. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces, lovely view, cozy hang out space and well appointed kitchen including spices & more. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Easy checkout too!

Winter Ski Weekend

We had a wonderful trip to this beautiful Stowe home. It was perfect for our group, with lots of room to spread out. The house was very clean, well stocked with everything you could need, and very organized for guests. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a day on the slopes! We also enjoyed beautiful snowy hikes, with trails that are very close to the house.Jamie was a wonderful host checking in to confirm we arrived safely and had what we needed, and very responsive if we had a question. We really hope to go back again next year!

Friends reunion

We came from Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Maine and New Hampshire to have our 19 adventure together. We had a great time at the house and felt very relaxed. Wildlife coming through the yard was an added extra. Owners were very responsive

Great Weekend!

Perfect Home!

We traveled to Vermont to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from UVM and this home was the perfect spot. The hosts literally thought of everything guests might need and provided it. From a thoughtful welcome package to serving platters to folding tables to a ping pong table. They thought of it all! The house was spotless and the communication with the host when we had questions was super fast. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Stowe area!

Wonderful home in Stowe

Having stayed at my fair share of terrible vacation rentals my expectations were tempered but this place was truly wonderful. You can tell it is someones home rather than just a commercial property as everything was exceptionally well stocked and there was corn hole and ping pong and games galore. The hot tub worked perfectly and we never had any issue with the house with the exception that it did heat quickly due to all the windows so you had open them up to cool it down. It is relatively private and maybe 5 mins from downtown Stowe so really a perfect location. I highly reccomend this place.
