Great stay

Lovely clean and modern house. Had everything we needed. Easy access (5 mins drive) to Gordon River cruise and the famous Strahan play. Both excellent by the way.

Comfortable and convenient

This property presented as in the pictures. It was comfortable, clean and everything presented well. The host was responded quickly to our query. The shower over the bath was a disaster waiting to happen. It was very slippery, more-so when the non slip mat was down and especially when using soap. It was also a bit further from shops etc than we expected but as we drove it wasn’t an issue. The seafood buffet that was recommended was the worst value for money ever and the seafood was very obviously not fresh. The Gordon River Cruise however more than made up for it - it was a highlight of our stay.

Relaxed holiday at Strahan

Just loved this beautiful peaceful backdrop and warm and friendly hosts who promptly responded for all queries and kept us up to date even about the river cruise. Boys were so enthralled to play cricket at the open ground and a lovely gesture and offer of cricket kit to the kids from the super friendly hosts ! We were sad to leave and wish we could statyed a bit longer.Pretty spacious property with all comfort of home and amenities with short stroll to beach ! We will defintely come back !

Perfect peaceful base for exploring the beautiful west coast!

My mother and I had a lovely peaceful stay at this modern 3 bedroom holiday house in Strahan over the New Year period. Check in and communication was great and the carport was very handy for unloading our luggage. There is also an undercover clothesline which is sensible considering the weather can be unpredictable. The hosts had left the heating on for our arrival which was very much appreciated. The house was extremely clean and spacious, with a large kitchen/dining room and comfy lounge room. All 3 bedrooms contain queen beds and were very comfortable with plenty of storage. The backyard is grass only and the house is located in a very peaceful area, away from major roads and traffic noise. We walked down to the jetty to see the water (at the end of the road) but used our car to do all other sightseeing in the area. It's about a 20-25 minute walk from the house to the main waterfront area of Strahan (pub, café and cruise wharf). We highly recommend visiting the sawmill and timber shop on the Esplanade, and further up the road is the Peace Park where you can start the pretty 40 minute return walk to see the Hogarth Falls. It's also a great town to use as a base for seeing all the sights of the west coast and we really enjoyed our visit with such friendly hosts.
