The location was excellent, but unfortunately, my experience was affected by a persistent unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I reported the issue to reception upon check-in at 2 p.m. for my 3-night business stay. Although the staff attempted to clean the area, the odor remained, and the initial solution offered was to use a body spray to mask the smell. After repeated follow-ups, my room was finally changed—but only on the last day of my stay. Overall, this made my trip uncomfortable, and I felt the service could have been more accommodating.

Parking structure is very dirty and a labyrinth, very difficult to navigate especially with all your bags. The hotel is attached to a shopping center and near the main station which is convenient. Rooms were grubby

In need of an update

This hotel is very tired and in need of an update. The public areas stank of incense. Beneath the pillow cases the pillows were dirty and toiletries that appear to be standard at other Novotels were not provided.

Exactly what we needed

Reception, staff, ground floor, restaurant, breakfast and breakfast area were all excellent. The upper floors and rooms were fine. Convenient location, it was exactly what we were looking for, for an overnight stay.

The hotel was very outdated (with the exception of the reception area) for a 4 star hotel. No water, no toiletries, stain on carpets, and average breakfast. The one good thing about this hotel is the location, you can walk to most touristic areas.

improvement on the cleanliness is a must!

we were here for two days. unfortunately the lifts were not always working so we had to use the ibis lifts or the stairs. cleanliness of the room was also not as shown as the pictures. could have been better. staff were very friendly and helpful; location is great!

Horrible hotel , They say they have AC but it does NOT ,very hot room . The building AC doesn’t work , You open the window and you have people screaming all night. BUYER BE ware HORRIBLE ! ! ! Dispute Claim

I would not recommend at all this property We arrived at the lobby inside the hotel to do the check in, we tried to modify the reservation to leave one day early and they did not help with that they said u have to change the reservation through expedia otherwise they cant change anything ( my booking was pay at the hotel) Having this discussion my husband turn to get the documents from the backpack and noticed the bag pack was missing. I told them to call the police, because we were robbed right there at the reception of the hotel doing the check in. The police arrived, we activated the apple tag and the find my iPad and we could track in real time the bag, 5 hours after the bag appeared with the documents, but no money ( we had a lot of cash in euros to pay for hotel trains etc), no iPad, no valuables. Hlwe had to go to the police station fill the report press charges etc. In all this time while we were dealing with this, the hotel never even offer a bottle of water, not even a snack to my daughter, not a discount, they just were saying is not the hotel responsibility. We were 4 people traveling my husband my daughter and my . mother. I spoke to a friend who is a lawyer and told me the hotel has responsibility from the moment you enter the common areas of the hotel, and they should have an insurance to respond for this events. They will listen from my lawyers. Don’t go to Strasbourg is not as the advertise it. And this hotel the worst of my life
