If the it is not a busy time, Let the customer check-in 1 or 1/2 hour earlier if the room is already clean, a
The hotel was really nice. Loved the fact that you could park outside your room and they had picnics table outside so we were able to have get togethers without having security guards t long us to go inside
The staff was excellent. For an unknown reason the tv was not working. Two staff came to the room to check on it at the same time the lights in the room started flickering. The two staff members were concerned about safety and moved us to the next room. They carried our suitcases, cooler, camera bag etc.and would not consider taking a tip. They said that it was their duty.

Carpet has been placed over a large hole in the floor near the bed. Very difficult to walk there. No recycling bin in room. Otherwise very happy overall.
There was no where to sit in the room other than the bed. There was plenty of space for a couple of chairs which we had to ask for. I put the maid service sign up but no one came to the room so I had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper and towels. The paint is peeling off the window frames inside and out. Really a dump.
This is the second time I've stayed here. It is very basic. Pretty much a bed and bathroom. But it is clean, quiet, relatively inexpensive and convenient to downtown Stratford.

Shabby. Was not told at checkin that cleaning had to be requested. Then I was grilled about what level of cleaning I wanted (just towel change and empty the one tiny wastebasket or a full cleaning. The shower had great water pressure.
On the positive side, my bed was very comfortable! But for the carpet with a couple of stains, the room was clean.
The shower was a walk-in so that was a plus also but a grab bar beside the toilet for people who need help with accessibility should be something management should highly take in to consideration.
Getting into the room was a bit of a challenge, I have mobility issues so it was a big step to get up and in. The real issue was when you took that first step into the room there was a big soft spot in the floor. Except for the bathroom area, the carpeted floor was uneven when walking, felt spongey. We felt as if we might go through in certain areas.
Where our room was located, the driveway had a huge pot hole. So if you arrived in the evening you would surely go into as it is pretty much in the middle of the road and could cause damage to your car.

Good value
Decent room for the price. Motel rooms are not as nice as the Quality Inn that is part of same property. But they are quieter due to being single story walkout, so no hallway noise.
rooms were very musty smelling, obviously had not been used in a while Complained and were given rooms in their Quality suites (their property next door)
Both this property and the adjacent Quality Inn & Conference Centre are disasters. There's no signage for the Festival Courtyard Inn, and we drove around the pothole-filled parking lot looking for the reception area. We finally found what looked like an office for the Conference Centre and were told that we could check in there, but were warned that both the restaurant and the bar were "temporarily" closed. When we got to our room, we were shocked by the condition of the windows, which needed a lot more than a new coat of paint - more like total replacement, as the wood was obviously rotting. Inside, the room was a huge disappointment, looking NOTHING like any of the rooms displayed online. The only furniture was the bed, one night table, and a dresser, but there was a huge empty space by the window. The bedspread was badly stained, as were the threadbare towels. The 2 soaps that were provided were more like tokens than bars. The bathroom mirror (the only mirror in the room) had water and, um, other marks all over it, and there was a big handprint clearly visible on the TV screen. I understand that the Conference Centre is being "renovated" - there were signs of construction activity here and there - but it appeared to me that it would be faster and easier just to demolish the entire property and rebuild. The once-proud Festival Inn, where I stayed many times in better times, is now a sad eyesore, and I would never spend another night at the Festival Courtyard Inn.
The signage for the office was nonexistent so we drove around the building to try to find it. In order to get into our room, we had to walk around a huge weed that was jutting out into the sidewalk. The bathroom door could not close. There was no recycling container. The shower door needed cleaning.
On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the fridge and coffeemaker were very good! We were happy to see and use the USB port.
