With its open floor plan, this newly renovated house is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing after a long day in the outdoors. Located in the heart of the Western Maine Mountains Bigelow Range, this house is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast - very close to hiking trails including the AT and Maine Huts and Trails system, 1.5 miles to Flagstaff Lake for swimming, kayaking, boating & paddle-boarding (kayaks available for use), just 7 miles to the best mountain biking network in the state & Sugarloaf Ski Resort with its top-notch golf course overlooking the Bigelows, and only 500 feet from the ITS 89 Snowmobile and ATV trails. It’s a great area for fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, and exploring waterfalls! We are also only 20 miles to Rangeley & Saddleback for more places to explore! We provide an activity guide but feel free to ask any questions about the area. The kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances with all the other amenities you will need. There is a beautiful glass tile breakfast bar which seats six plus an additional dining area. The living room is equipped with a 65 inch HDTV (Amazon Fire-stick with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube TV), eight speaker surround-sound, and high-speed wi-fi. There are two couches, one with a chaise and ottoman plus a second sofa for plenty of seating. Upstairs the master bedroom has a queen bed and a 42 inch HDTV with DVD, fan, & AC. The guest bedroom has two full size beds with a 42 inch TV, fan, & AC, and the additional loft area has a full size bed, bureau, and room for belongings. There is a three season porch with seating, and a new heated breezeway for storing your gear. Outside there a beautiful yard in a wooded lot, a Weber grill, outdoor dining area, and a fire pit (with wood available for purchase) for relaxing in the evening. Come enjoy our beautiful area!
