We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment worked well with two young kids. The highlight were our hosts who welcomed us warmly, gave so many tips on activities in the area and were always super responsive to any question. Thank you!

Relaxing time

Our host was very helpful. She was there to greet us when we arrived. She showed us how things worked. She went over boat time tables and things to see in the area. It was a nice roomy apartment ; we enjoyed our time in Stresa. A nice place to unwind and get away from the crowds

great location at Lago Maggiore

Me and my elderly parents spent great holidays in Carciano - Stresa. Mostly thanks to Mr. Giuseppe Paracchini and his wonderful family. The description of the appartment, its location, layout and facilities were accurate and we found this place very comfortable, clean and cosy. The owner prepared a lot of the information and every time he and his family were ready to help. I would definetly recommend this place to other tourists.

Comfortable apartment in Carciano

Guiseppe & his daughter were very welcoming and the apartment was well equipped. It was well located for the Lido ferries & the cable car. The walk up to the apartment could be quite challenging for anyone with a low level of fitness. It is quite steep in places. we had a lovely stay.

The apartment is neat, clean and very well stocked. Location is quiet and tucked away in a nice neighborhood about a lovely ten-minute walk away Stresa. An excellent little grocery is a block away and there's a wonderful restaurant right down the street. All in all a very good experience. Giuseppe and his daughter were helpful and attentive. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the apartment.

Quiet and spacious apartment, a good base for visiting Stresa and the islands

We received a warm welcome with Giuseppe meeting us at the station and driving us on a tour of Stresa. At the end of our stay he also kindly drove us down to the bus stop for the Alibus to Malpensa airport. So we had no need to carry our luggage and we did not hire a car, though, if we had, parking was free nearby. There was an excellent shop 3 minutes' walk away, open every day, serving bread, charcuterie and cheeses, as well as other basic groceries. Five minutes away there was also a friendly restaurant and bar at the Centro Sportivo, La Cascina, where we ate very well. To reach the Lido with access to the boats took us 20 minutes walking( downhill ), whilst a useful bus stop for other lakeside towns, and for Lake Orta was about 15 minutes. So we had easy access to transport and amenities whilst being away from the bustle of Stresa. The entrance hall to the building is elegant, large and secure. The apartment was very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We used the balcony off the kitchen for our breakfasts and many evening meals. It had a very pleasant outlook over the garden, which was also available to us.. Fiamma joined her father to show us all the tourist information provided and offer advice. Our delightful hosts were available throughout the holiday should we need anything.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen

Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben nichts vermisst und sehr gerne auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt und abends dort ein Glas Wein getrunken- mit Blick in den Garten. Zu empfehlen!

Sommer am Lago Maggiore

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit am Lago und in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr groß, ein schön renoviertes Bad und hat einen schnuckeliger Balkon, auf welchem wir jeden Morgen unser Frühstück genossen haben. Am Abend liegt der Balkon im Schatten und läd zum Verweilen, Karten spielen oder sonstigem ein. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und bemüht. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier am Lago Maggiore und in der Wohnung

Parfait pour un séjour au calme

Joli appartement, très grand et bien équipé, salle de bain neuve, dans un quartier calme à 20 minutes à pied du centre, avec vue sur le lac. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces quelques jours! Giuseppe et sa fille sont des hôtes extrêmement accueillants - nous reviendrons!

Emplacement idéal pour découvrir le Lac Majeur

Logement très confortable, et spacieux, très bien situé pour découvrir les rives du Lac Majeur, les îles Borromées et les villages pittoresques qui bordent le lac. Proche du centre de Stresa et de ses commodités, et de l'embarcadère de Carciano. Idéal ! Et un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leurs conseils sur les visites à effectuer. Peaceful lake interlude

What a lovely property. Really helpful owners who live next door. A bit of a walk to the train station and the main part of Stresa but beautiful to sit out on the balcony in the evening looking at the garden.

A Week in Stresa

The property is very nice with a very large living room and a very large bedroom. The bathroom is renovated and modern. The kitchen is too small and there are not enough counter spaces to work on if you wanted to cook which we did. It really needs an update. The other drawback was it's location in that it wasn't in the centre of town. It wasn't too bad but it's quite a climb to get there from town. The car parking was okay but on a steep hill also, The balcony is small as well, so you couldn't really sit out.

The perfect base for exploring beautiful Lake Maggiore

This is a large and very well equipped apartment within easy walking distance of the centre of Stresa. Owners Giuseppe and his daughter Enrica were the perfect hosts - friendly, generous and obviously very keen to ensure guests enjoyed their stay. There was a beautiful garden which guests were welcome to use and which provided both sun and shade. Giuseppe kindly collected us from the Alibus stop and took us back at the end of the stay which was a great help. Gloria’s supermarket nearby was small but had an excellent selection and the young ladies who run it were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return to stay at Casa Belvedere should we return to Stresa in the future - thank you Giuseppe and Enrica
