"We had an unexpected medical emergency during our six day stay, and were treated with kindness from everyone working at the motel. We very much appreciated having the ability to stay, in our room until the planned checkout date. The motel is dated, and does need some work, but overall the little things did not make a difference in our comfort during the stay. If we visit Moose Lake in the future, we will look at staying again."

" The Perfect Peaceful Getaway for Our Book Retreat! We had a wonderful stay! Three of us rented this property for our girls' book retreat, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The home was incredibly quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect atmosphere to relax, read, cook, and enjoy time together. The kitchen was well-equipped with great appliances that made preparing our meals a breeze. We also appreciated the thoughtful basics, including plenty of toilet paper for three women throughout our stay! The showers had fantastic water pressure, which is always a plus.My only suggestion would be to add a nonslip mat or some type of traction to the bathtub, as the surface was quite slippery. It's a small addition that would make the bathroom feel much safer.Otherwise, everything was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better setting for our book retreat. We'd happily stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway!"
Hidden Lakeside Retreat! Camper + Bunkhouse in Charming Sawyer.

"Kolten is a great VRBO host, he’s very quick to respond to messages, and caring in that he wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for the stay. My boyfriend and I stayed in the camper with our dog, and the area was perfect for relaxing and connecting with nature. They have a beautiful, newly built deck that we spent the nights sitting at and playing cards while enjoying the stars. The property is on a small lake which had amazing views, and we also used the kayaks provided to explore the area further. The camper itself was well stocked with cooking items, and a snack basket, while also being very clean. Overall, I would recommend the stay for anyone looking for something cozy and private."
Cozy cabin in the woods with peaceful views - 4 bedrooms!

"We chose this property for a family event over the weekend (daughter's wedding) that was nearby. It definitely met all of our family/extended family needs. The property was very clean and non-cluttered with comfortable couches/chairs, had a spacious kitchen for cooking and meal preparation as well as ample dinnerware/cookware, more than adequate dining/seating options, and plenty of beds and sleeping options to meet the needs of a large family. Then there's the setting, the view. To wake up every day to a view of a lake with a variety of birds (swans, geese, etc...) and other wildlife, who would complain about that! The fall colors only added to the view, the setting.Regarding the host, the most fitting word to me is "gracious". Karli was on top of communication, letting me know well in advance all the usual things: e.g., when we could check-in, how to get into the property, our responsibilities during the stay, when check-out time was, etc...But she also readily answered other questions I had prior to our arrival, and even initiated communication with me once after the stated hours of her availability. Without question, if we ever return to this area and are in need of a VRBO this place would be my first choice!"
