"China (Cheena) looked after us so well. She did everything, cooking , cleaning, driving us to ski resort. Our train was cancelled and they came to pick us up at Bandai Altima at a cost which was terrific. There actually is a bus from Koriyama to the Ski Resort however the bus station seemed unable to tell us that. It would have been good information from Reitopia also. "Although the hotel building and its facilities are a little bit old, the room is very clean and hotel staff are very friendly. It takes about 15 minutes’ walk from New Shirakawa (Shin Shirakawa) Train Station, or you can catch a taxi at about 1000 Yen. There are several restaurants located within five minutes’ walking distance, however, it is relatively far from downtown Shirakawa and Komine Castle."

"The accommodation was pleasant. The staff were very helpful and the onsen was wonderful. The little extras made the stay even better, gift in the fridge, fresh water each day, free ice cream and yakult when using the onsen, the manga library and storing our bags post stay before we caught our train. Only thing to improve was the dark curtains that are dated to help brighten the place."
