A cottage full of charm and with a beautiful plot not far from the sand fjord. At your disposal is a jetty with mooring, filleting place, outdoor shower and good swimming conditions. From here you can reach the fjord in no time and with a little luck you can prepare your own lunch in the evening. You can also try your fishing luck in the local mountain lakes, where the wild mountain trout lives. For this you can reach salmon rivers like Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva (fishing license obligatory) after only a short drive. There are many great hiking opportunities in this district; here you can get up close and personal with the fjord and mountain scenery. We recommend a hike to the mountain peaks Fjetlandsnuten and Grytenuten, where you will find a 360 degree telescope that gives a spectacular view all the way to Stavanger and the Folgefonna glacier. Follow the Norwegian Landscape Route in Ryfylke County, visiting the town of Sand with stores, the Ryfylke Museum, a laughter studio and the Sandsfossen waterfall. Also make day trips to the world famous Lysefjord and the popular rock Trolltunga.
