Everything about this stay was amazing. The property was breath taking and the hosts so kind. So many amenities, and small details that really made it feel truly upscale. The king bed in our room was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! It felt like the folks who run it genuinely love what they do.

The location was perfect for touring the island. It was central to everything we wanted to see and we found everything we needed in close proximity. Breakfast was great. It was the first B&B we ever stayed at that successfully promoted conversation with other guests. It was a pleasure. You could have privacy or you could intermingle with other guests. No complaints about anything.

My stay at The Boardwalk Inn was absolutely wonderful. Lesley is a delight and so helpful. She makes a delicious breakfast every morning for each guest. She also leaves snacks outside the guest rooms in the evening. The Inn’s location is great for walking to the boardwalk, restaurants and shops. The guest rooms are incredibly clean and tidied up each day during your stay. Each room has an individual air conditioning/heating unit for your comfort. Lesley could not have been more warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend The Boardwalk Inn for your next PEI stay.

Our stay at The Boardwalk Inn in Summerside, PEI, was truly special. This beautifully preserved heritage home has been meticulously maintained, and from the moment you walk through the door, you feel transported back to Summerside’s fascinating days of lumber and shipbuilding. Every room has been thoughtfully decorated with a beautiful mix of period pieces and modern comforts. The attention to detail throughout the inn is exceptional—it feels authentic and historic without ever sacrificing comfort. And the cleanliness deserves its own mention: spotless from top to bottom. Everything was fresh, beautifully cared for, and inviting. Our host, Leslie, was wonderful—warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. And the food! Leslie is an outstanding chef, and breakfast was a highlight of our stay. There is something very special about staying somewhere that feels like a piece of PEI history rather than simply a place to sleep. The Boardwalk Inn has character, charm, comfort, history and exceptional hospitality in equal measure. A true 10/10 experience. We would happily return and highly recommend The Boardwalk Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful, memorable heritage stay in Summerside. ❤️

Belle semaine dans un endroit paisible

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Leslie. La chambre était très confortable avec une salle de bain attenante privée très propre. Quelques petites attentions nous attendaient dans la chambre et les repas délicieux respectaient nos intolérances alimentaires. Je recommande fortement un séjour au Boardwalk Inn.
