    The Elkhorn House in Sun Valley offers 1,700 sq feet of well-appointed living space, ideal for a family getaway or a trip with friends. The centerpiece of the living area is the floor to ceiling river rock fireplace placed between two picture windows, a treat for winter evenings. There's plenty of space for your group to gather, watch your favorite shows, and make vacation memories in Sun Valley. There is a powder room on the main level for guest convenience.

    Plan to split your time between visiting Sun Valley's top-rated restaurants and cooking up delicious meals at home? The Elkhorn House is perfect! The galley kitchen is functional and fully-equipped with seating at the bar counter and a formal dining table for 6.

    The Elkhorn House features two bedrooms and a den and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The master suite has a queen bed, flat screen TV, plenty of closet space, a cozy rocker for quiet moments, and direct access to a private balcony. The ensuite master bathroom has a bath/shower combination. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed with use of the shared bathroom in the hallway. If you're planning to work from the mountains, the Elkhorn House is also perfect! The den is equipped with a desk and a sleeper sofa so can be used as a remote office or third bedroom for extra guests.

    One of the many things you'll love about this vacation home is the large deck with outdoor seating, a BBQ grill and your very own private hot tub for soothing soaks and stargazing.

    Other vacation amenities include access to the seasonal facilities at Elkhorn Resort, a private 2 car garage (a treat for snowy winter months), off-street parking for extra vehicles, and a full size laundry and mudroom for guest convenience.

Listing is not accurate. Hot tub is dirty

I initially was just annoyed because the listing is wrong. There is no grill and the second bedroom is a double not a queen bed. This didn’t really affect our stay much at all. However, now I’m aggravated because it has come to my attention that the hot tub is/was not clean. It didn’t really seem like there were chemicals in it, but the water did not have a green tint which normally indicates something is out of balance. One of our friends ended up with a rash, which is due to a particular bacteria in the hot tub. There was not sufficient chlorine in the hot tub. Use at your own risk. That being said, the house IS cozy and comfortable. It feels like a time capsule in a good way. Michael was responsive when we had questions at check in. The property just needs a little attention and care.

Nice & quiet stay!

We just want to thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We wanted to take a couple days to isolate and relax. The hot tub was a nice perk too!

Comfortable quiet cabin

Loved the quiet location in Elkhorn. The fireplace was wonderful and the accommodations were fine but things could use some tlc- dated appliances and furnishings. The vintage toaster smoked in use and the gas grill had too much residue on it for our liking, so we cooked inside instead. Generally well equipped and comfortable for a short stay at a reasonable price point in Sun Valley.
