「Climate was comfortable. We used the wood burning fireplace. We did not have anything for kindling but picked up some newspapers to assist. The compost toilet seemed pretty full. There wasn’t any odor but it was just piled pretty high. 」

「Our cabin was clean and had the amenities. Bed comfortable. Our bedroom was next to Hot Tub so it was a little noisy when people were out there, thankfully people didn’t stay in it late! Other than that things were great! Love how they are pet friendly and the host John is GREAT to work with! Happy Traveler!」

「We were in town for a wedding in Spearfish and decided to stay in downtown area, and chose this little cottage based on the reviews. We were not disappointed! We had everything we needed, easy parking, warm cottage with all the amenities. The locals are SO FRIENDLY! We LOVED the area, and definitely are considering a return trip for a vacation getaway to explore the region in a bit warmer weather. We will definitely stay at this property again!」
