“It was such a fantastic hotel and staycation with my BFF visiting from Chicago for my 60th. The only things that are odd is if you go to the pool and pool bar you are not allowed to bring any food or water in there. That was fine and not sure what they for families with kids and their snacks so it could be different. You also can't charge anything to your room so bring your CC to the pool.
Other than that it was such an AMAZING hotel and if you are there on a Sunday make sure to go to the pool……

“Parking is VERY problematic. There is no on-site parking. Their ‘onsite’ parking is several blocks away in a public garage. You will need to roll your suitcase several city blocks and anytime you go out, be prepared to walk back and forth. “I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown and had a disappointing experience.
Check in was at 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:10, one of our two rooms was still not ready. No one informed us when it became available, we had to follow up ourselves. The staff overall were rude and unhelpful.
One room faced the highway, making it very noisy at night, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. The next day, we were told room service required 24……
