"We stayed 2 nights. The location is great and you can see the ocean from the window and if you have small kids (like us) it’s a perfect walking distance to the beach. Other reviews are right about old carpets and such. Those are the downsides for sure. Place needs a lot of upgrades. Also there are no extra blankets at all and no coffee (coffee machine is there but you have to actually get your butt out in the morning and go buy coffee)"

"We love to go to Holden Beach shelling and just relaxing. Best location to easily access the beach. Condo is comfortable and neat. Kitchen is small but adequate. Everything worked well with no problems. Hope to go back soon!"

"We loved holden beach. However, our room was disgusting and VERY outdated. When we arrived, i had to clean for 2 hours because everything was so nasty. I called and complained and still was never offered any money back, etc. Just that they was very sorry and offered to come and clean the room. But that was necessary because I had already cleaned it. The comforters were stained and old looking. I washed them before we used them. Will never book with these owners again."

"Nice VRBO, but had problems with leak and had to vacate location prior to my full stay. Gate entry doors would not work properly and the location was not near the beach. They however were quite to clean up leak,"

"Nice oceanfront condo, newly renovated. We enjoyed the deck and easy beach access. The building is right near the public access of the pier which was busy even in the off season. Don't think I'd stay here in the summer unless you like crowded beaches. FYI -The dishwasher takes over 2 hours to run and they want you to wash, dry and put away all dishes before you leave so you'll need to time that."

"The proximity to the beach was awesome. The outside patio was larger than expected and had a nice view of the ocean. We ate all of our meals out there! The beds were comfortable enough and all bedding was nice and clean. The checkout process was pretty simple. We had one minor issue with the door but the host responded very quickly so it wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely rebook!"

"Best Thanksgiving and Christmas. This place is amazing to stay. Great location, wonderful view from balcony sunrise and sunset, fireplace , beautiful and clean inside apartment. We enjoyed our staying so much and we will come back again. There is no construction around its quiet just sounds of waves 🌊. We highly recommend. Thank you for having us."

"This was our first visit to Holden Beach. The house was exactly as pictured except the owner has added some very comfortable outdoor seating on the deck. We spent mornings and evenings sitting outside watching and listening to the ocean. The location was perfect for us - close to restaurants (I highly recommend Mermaids Island Grill) and Sunset Slush (Italian Ice) within a 3 minute drive along with a Public Beach access diagonally across from the driveway.
