Lovely house, gardens and pool

We enjoyed our stay in Surgeres, the house was lovely and so was the garden and pool. Peaceful and relaxing. The check in process wasn't very smooth (we waited at the house nearly an hour at the check in time before someone met us) and all communication at check in and check out was in French which was challenging for us at times.

Flott hus

Huset var akkurat som i annonsen. Stor tomt som var skjermet, ingen støy og med et veldig bra og rent basseng. Kjøkkenet hadde det meste av utstyr, og det var nært til matbutikker. Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold i huset. Jeg ville gitt 5 stjerner hvis det ikke var for noen småting som for eksempel at plenen var ikke klipt på lang tid, badehåndkle og sengetøy var ikke inkludert selv om det stod i annonsen. Det måtte vi betale ekstra for. Det var bare seks puter til utestolene, selv om huset er annonsert til åtte personer (vi var syv). Dette er bare små justeringer som skal til for å gjøre huset topp.

Idéale pour un séjour en famille

Maison idéale pour un séjour en famille, trés bien équipée, en ville mais au calme, jardin clos et sans vis à vis. La piscine est un vrai plus. Bien placée pour découvrir la région, merci à Edith pour l'accueil et aux propriétaires pour etre resté a l'écoute de nos besoins, malgré des délais très courts.

Ein wirklich fantastischer Urlaub!

Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub für 14 Tage mit der ganzen Familie (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) sehr genossen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, wir konnten uns wunderbar entspannen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Monsieur Birkui und ich hatten uns bzgl der Kaffeemaschine missverstanden, aber das Problem wurde ganz schnell und unkompliziert gelöst. Edith ist sehr hilfsbereit und wir fühlten uns direkt willkommen. Die Lage ist prima für Tagesausflüge an den Strand oder nach La Rochelle oder auf die wunderschöne Île de Ré. Wir können uns gut vorstellen hier immer wieder herzukommen!

Séjour paisible et calme pour se retrouver en famille et visiter les environs - Top !

Nous venons d'y séjourner en famille. Quel plaisir de trouver une maison charmante, entourée de verdure et au calme. Aménagée avec goût, elle offre des prestations de qualité : literie très confortable et grande taille , salles de bains très proprettes, cuisine très bien équipée avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour se préparer des bons petits plats (ce qui est assez rare pour le préciser) en plus de pièces spacieuses et claires dont une salle à manger pour se retrouver tous à table. Bien chauffée, elle nous a entièrement conquis par les multiples services mis à disposition par les propriétaires, et ce grand jardin nous a séduit et fait la joie des plus petits. Cela a été une très appréciable façon de profiter de la région car la ville de Surgères est située à égale distance de multiples lieux, de découvrir de très jolis sites tout à proximité (les églises romanes sont vraiment à visiter, ainsi que le marais poitevin, mais aussi l’île d'Aix qui a un charme intemporel), d'aller à La Rochelle (sans en avoir les inconvénients) et de retrouver chaque fois avec plaisir cette maison pour profiter de soirées au coin du feux, dans un salon des plus confortable. Cette "petite maison" a vraiment tout d'une grande et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Un séjour au top!

Le séjour a été des plus plaisants à tous les points de vue : les hôtes ont été très accueillants et arrangeants, la maison est très agréable et offre un grand confort (3 salles de bains, très bonne literie, large choix de livres, cheminée pour l'hiver...) .La piscine, implantée dans le 2ème jardin comprenant des parties ombragées, est grande et très agréable.Le 1er jardin situé devant la maison est tout aussi agréable : bien planté et spacieux. La ville de Surgères est une petite commune très dynamique (nous étions présents pendant le "Brass Festival" en Juillet) et idéalement située pour visiter la région (marais poitevin, sites touristiques, La Rochelle, les îles ...). Nous recommandons cette adresse sans hésiter !

Calme, repos famillial et découvertes de la région à la Petite maison

Grande capacité d'accueil, beaux espaces des chambres et des lieux de vie dans cette jolie maison. La piscine, immense, nous a comblé durant toute la durée du séjour, la chaleur importante de cet été 2018 ne nous a pas été pesante tant le jardin comporte de coins ombragés. Surgères est une ville qui mérite qu'on y séjourne et les lieux touristiques de la région sont à moins de 30min en voiture. On y retournera été comme hiver !

Très jolie maison entièrement rénovée cette année avec beaucoup de charme.on s y sent bien de suite,tout confort.literie haut de gamme,plein de livres pour tous et jeux pour les enfants. Le jardin est très reposant,bien exposé avec sa très belle piscine chauffée.parasol,mobilier de jardin,plancha...tout est là pour des vacances de rêve.A proximité la Rochelle,les iles...magique!
