“We had a great stay! Secluded and quiet. We were there while the restaurant was closed which was unfortunate but probably kept the property from being as busy as it could be. Will definitely consider going back for future trips. We ate dinner in Elkin and Wilkesboro. Great restaurants in both towns and super close to Stone Mountain for a solid day of hiking/site seeing. 100% recommend.”

“After initial (2) concerns were quickly remedied, we had an excellent visit and stay. The location, right on the river and nice tasting / light food. Initially the hot tub was scalding hot, and too hot for entry. This was remedied. The bed mattress was excessively worn out and unsupportive. This was remedied by relocating us to another unit with acceptable mattress. All communications were prompt and our concerns addressed promptly. The property location is first rate spectacular. Close to Stone……

“We had family meet to stay here over Thanksgiving. We all had a great time here enjoying the woods and wildlife. And you will need an all wheel drive vehicle to get down to it, because it's steep. It has all the privacy you want, tucked in the woods overlooking Big Reed Island. We enjoyed the peace and the layout of this unique property with its interesting decor and unique floor plan. Consider this the one if you want a private, relaxing get together spot.”

“Our family came here for Thanksgiving and then took a wine tour the following Friday. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. Beautiful views and the outdoor fireplace were just icing on the cake! ”
