Okay place to stay for a few short nights within driving distance to Acadia. The structure is old but furnishings were new and very nice. Our beds were comfortable. Stairs to the upper level are short and steep and the house layout is a bit odd (have to walk through each bedroom to get to the next upstairs). Overall it fulfilled our needs as an extended family and we enjoyed the proximity to the park.

Bedding, beds, towels all new, soft and lovely. Furniture, paint, pillows, and blankets so nice. Water quality is an issue. Rust in water stains the beautiful white towels and our whites. Bathrooms stained from iron and upstairs shower is real small.Felt the price was high, perhaps Maine is just expensive. Obvious owners put a great deal of money and effort into the house to fix it for renting. Stairs going up to bedrooms would be tricky for anyone very young or elderly. Slept well with our family of 7 adults. Had a nice fire pit and outdoor area. Went to Acadia and Bar Harbor each day.
