“Very nice place to stay. Staff was very nice; the room was nicely done as far as looks and cleanliness. The shower tub had a lower entry which is great for older adults. Confrontable king size bed. Short walk to downtown Sutter Creek. Safe area for walking. No need to Uber for a ride. It has a gym and a bar. Although we did not check out the bar. ”

“Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. If you need anything, he will provide and with a smile The renovation is very good from previous owner and will be even better with small improvements. “This was a perfect spot for us ! ”

“Unfortunately the cleanliness of this hotel was terrible. The entire room smelt like animal urine and it was just an awful smell we had to sleep with the windows open. Not only that but when we woke up the next morning there were fleas on us. The beds are infested with fleas. Do not stay here.”

“Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score.”

“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods.
