We absolutely loved our stay at the Cardinal Cottage! The house was incredibly clean, well-stocked, organized, and cozy. It was the perfect home-base for our family’s adventures in Asheville and Black Mountain because it was quiet and secluded yet only a couple of miles from the interstate. Our hosts were very responsive and gracious!

We came to Asheville to do some sightseeing and visit with friends. Cardinal Cottage was exactly what we needed for our stay. The beds were soft, the couches roomy and the bath water hot! The host communication was spot on. Directions accurate and codes for entering correct. We had no issues with the host, the cottage or the stay.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Cute decor. We had a problem understanding the TV set up (which was totally our fault). The owners , Nancy and Barry were quick to respond and help us. Will book again when in that area.

This house was in a quiet area, with easy parking, entrance with no steps, and all the living space was on one floor, making this a good choice for seniors. The gas grill worked well, and instructions were clearly printed out for all appliances. It was a quick drive to the house from the highway which accessed the interstate for heading to Asheville or the nearby town of Black Mountain. The house had a homey feel to it!

Easy Stay

Our stay was nice and easy. There was plenty of room to have 5 separate beds with the trundle beds. It was closer to town than I thought it would be, but still in a peaceful setting.
