Handmade city apartment

This Fully furnished, light filled apartment is in the Hyde Park Plaza. It has recently been refurbished and has a South District facing balcony with sliding doors from the living area. This apartment is within walking distance to the City, Darling Harbour, The Rocks and close to all conveniences, transport, shops and city landmarks.
The apartment includes a Double bed, Built in wardrobes, double sofa bed to accommodate two extra guests, full linen and toweling and a fully self contained kitchen with a Microwave/Grill/Convection oven. A safe is also provided.

High speed, uncapped Internet is included in the rate

The building has 24 hour reception.
There are two rooftop pools with magnificent views and a gym available to all guests.

Sydney trip

Had a great stay , perfect central location made getting around the city very easy. Check in was great, I arrived late and keys where left with the service desk. Pool and spa on the rooftop were an added bonus. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

Overall were happy with apartment and its location. Two small things - coat hangers - there was one only - we were there for a wedding no where to hang our clothes. Second thing - apartment is privately owned so the hotel (concierge) will not store luggage for you. Other than those two very minor issues we enjoyed our stay.

The place has a big balcony and amazing view to Oxford street. Big A in location and views. However, it was very hard to communicate with the property manager via Homeaway & Expedia. The balcony also had debris all over when we get there. Having just one key also made it hard for 2 people to stay.

The location of the flat is perfect, you are right in the city centre. Close to shopping malls, Chinatown and it is only a short walk to townhall area. However the flat was dirty and stinky. There was mold in the bathroom, all balcony windows/doors were covered with dirt, and there was a awful smell in the flat. The coach was very dirty. The chairs were broken. The manager sent the cleaning team the next day, but it was not enough to get rid of the terrible smell. When I complained about the flat the manager stopped answering my messages. He promised to arrange us luggage storage in the apartment but he didnt arrange it. You can choose this place for the location and the cost but you will be dissapointed because of the cleanness of the apartment.

Great location

We had a great time in Sydney. The location is great. Right across from Hyde Park. It is one mile to Sydney Harbor or a mile to Darling Harbor...there is an IGA right across the street to stick up on groceries. We caught the Hop on/Hop off bus about two blocks up. The Museum train station is a block away...very easy for getting to and from the airport.

Good location. Loved the rooftop pool.

Location is very good and I loved the pool on the rooftop. We had a good time staying in the apartment. At the same time, the building and the apartment are not exacty state of the art and space is limited. On the plus side the owner is very responsive, flexible and helpful. Perfect for a short stay.

Sydney condo near Hyde Park

Condo in great location for exploring Sydney. Convenient for getting groceries and for restaurants. Hotel reception graciously accepted our bags for storage due to our early arrival. Key available as arranged for after 2 pm pick up. Bed room comfortable and clean. Laundry facilities in basement were convenient but a bit expensive at 4 dollars a load. In suite washing machine was available but on using it for one small load of clothes it made a lot of noise and seemed imbalanced so we chose to do clothes in basement facilities. Negatives were the following: traffic noise. Location of condo at busy intersection and near the hospital so there were sirens, motorcycle and cars reving their engines during the night that was dispruptive to sleep. In the kitchen the kettle did not work but we boiled water on the cooktop for tea and coffee so really we were fine. No oven in kitchen but we managed fine with cooktop and microwave. Biggest negative was concern over cleanliness. There were toe nail clippings beside the couch, mouldy caulking in the bathroom, smudgy handles and cabinet faces in the kitchen, hair on the bathroom floor, splatters of something on the living room walls, very dusty baseboards and smears of something on the couch cushions. Crumbs in the kitchen drawers and dirty cutlery were also apparent. We washed what we used prior to use. Over all it was a fine alternative to a hotel room.

Place near the City

The location is great because it is very near to the train station and within the city. We only have problems with communicating concerns like our luggage and cable problems but overall experience is good.

Best location in the City

The location is amazing. Close to EVERYTHING! The walls are a bit thin, but since we really just slept in the apartment we could manage.
