I was so worried when booking the hotel, but I needed one close to Central Station. The outside looks so old, but I didn't have a choice. However, when I walked into the room, I was shocked by how perfect the renovation is and how clean it is — it looks like a 5-star hotel from the inside. Don't let the whole building scare you; the room is amazing!! The price is so reasonable, but the reception needs to give clearer guidance, like telling people where to check in, that would be better. We will definitely book again if we visit Sydney!

From the outside you wouldn’t rate this place but inside the room you feel like you’re in a luxurious hotel. The room was beautifully renovated, good shower pressure, sensational mattress. Staff were lovely, location was brilliant. Amenities such as earplugs and water were appreciated. You could hear the trams at night and the renovations in the hotel but that’s what earplugs for. Overall would stay again!
