Hummingbird Cottage is a cozy, thoughtfully renovated 600 sq. ft. lakeside retreat just a short walk from Sylvan Lake’s beach, restaurants, shops, and attractions. The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests with a private queen bedroom, a queen Murphy bed, and a double sofa bed.
The bright open-concept living space features a 50” Roku Smart TV with JBL soundbar, a versatile lift-top coffee table, and comfortable seating for relaxing after a day at the lake. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals, while the backyard offers a firepit, outdoor seating, and large propane griddle for outdoor cooking.
Guests also have access to a private washer and dryer, complimentary laundry supplies, free on-site parking, and a peaceful outdoor sitting area perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks.
Blending historic cottage charm with modern comforts, Hummingbird Cottage is the perfect home base for your Sylvan Lake getaway.
Guests have exclusive access to the cottage and backyard. The adjacent vacant lot may also be used for outdoor games and recreation. Please note that the lot is privately owned and may occasionally be used by the hosts, family, or friends for vehicle parking. Guest parking is available in the designated cottage parking area only.
Please note that Hummingbird Cottage is a charming historic cottage built in 1937. Due to its age, some floors are uneven, the home is not fully level, and there is a step into the bathroom/laundry area. The cottage is also compact, with cozy living spaces and tighter clearances than a modern home.
While these features add to the cottage’s character, they may not be suitable for guests with mobility or accessibility concerns.
Wildlife is common in the area, and deer frequently visit the property. For their safety and yours, please enjoy them from a distance and do not approach, touch, or feed them.
