As some of the other reviews have said, it's a weird lay out, but it worked for all of our needs as a party of 6. The location of the property was great and a less than 10 minute drive from our event at the oncenter. What sucked was the communication leading to our stay and then also while we were there. The owner ended up messaging me on my personal number instead of through the app also. They had just had a leak which I could understand but once we got there there was cleaning supplies everywhere and they neglected a lot of tidying upkeep, but it was just surface level clean enough that you wouldnt see upon forst glance, such as a clean kitchen, but mold in the coffee maker, a tidy room, but stains of unknown origin when you lift the sheets. I wouldn't stay here again unless in a pinch. The property is older and they've done a lot of quick cheap fixes to make it rentable, but because the fixes are cheap, everything is kind of crumbling. Also no outside lighting was so dangerous for the concrete stairs with no railing you had to go up to get into the property.

Would NOT Book Again

Definitely would not stay here again. Host texted me that there was a leak in the kitchen and that they would be getting it fixed before we arrived. While we appreciated the notification when we got there the drywall dust and dirt were never cleaned up. Dirt and drywall were falling from the ceiling as we were moving our things in.After paying an exorbitant rate due to it being graduation weekend we expected the house to be clean and that it would have working appliances. Neither was true. The house was filthy. It obviously hadn't had a real cleaning in a very long time.Most appliances weren't functional. When I tried to cook something in the downstairs oven the house instantly started filling with smoke so I had to turn it off. Upstairs oven didn't work nor did the microwave or coffeemaker. Dishwasher and disposal on first floor had out of order signs on them.Some of the pillows and mattress pads were very badly stained. Some of the furniture was broken and the couches were every dirty. The staircase between the 2 floors was dark, dirty and had no railings.While we weren't expecting luxury accommodations we were at least expecting a clean place. Disappointing to say the least.

Great of a friend reunion for a wedding in DT Syracuse

This property was spacious and comfortably fit our group with the large bathrooms and number of bedrooms. The owner was very helpful with our questions too. It was a nice walk to some restaurants near campus and a short ride over to downtown Syracuse. This place was great for our friend reunion we had during a wedding weekend, with easy access to things and large gathering areas for us to hang out inside and outside of the house. Thank you!

Kooky house, great location

JackSun is great - good communication. This house is a little wacky - it’s HUGE but laid out so strangely. It was pretty clean - some floors weren’t swept and the bathroom fans need to be cleaned - but otherwise spic and span. We had plenty of room. The location on Euclid was fantastic - very enjoyable 20-minute walk to campus. The furniture is a bit rickety, but it got the job done. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Nice place!

Three sets of parents stayed at this house for a college parents weekend in Syracuse. The house was conveniently close to campus and on a quiet street. It was fun to have room to have all the kids over for a group dinner one night. Instructions for check in and door codes were sent in a timely manner, the rooms were comfortable, and there was adequate parking. We agreed that we enjoyed it more than we would have if we had all stayed at hotels!

Great in lots of ways

This is a really cool house and has lots of space and beautiful light and some very comfortable spaces. It's great if you have a large group. JackSun was super-responsive to questions during our stay and that was terrific. The downside is that the cleaning is really uneven. Some things were spotless and others looked as though they had not been cleaned in a very long time. Unfortunately the stairs connecting the first and second floors is not only dirty/cobwebby but also unlit and does not have a railing.

Excellent Stay near SU

House was as advertised. Comfortable beds and lots of space for hanging out. Host was really responsive and made the stay all that much better. Will for sure book again when back in Syracuse!

Know what you’re getting: a college apartment.

This rental is definitely for a younger crowd. I’m not sure if the intention is to rent to students. We had a group of 47 year old alumni. It was a bit rough. It’s not that the pictures “lied” but they don’t really tell the whole truth. Every piece of furniture is teeny tiny and the cheapest possible. I think they could have at least put out nice towels. The staircase connecting the 2 floors is downright scary. It needs to be refinished, given a railing and lighting. We liked the location and the amount of space.

It is a work in progress

Let me start by saying you can tell this property has had a lot of work done to it. It's just not completely ready to be a full rental. First, the way to access to house is a challenge. The door locks and door handles have foil on them and post it notes to try to explain how to open and close doors. Second, the house still has construction on both stairwells are not child safe and really need to be either noted while still in progress. Third, the house really needs a good cleaning. Dead bugs, cobwebs, construction dust and leftover food cartons from the previous guests. Nothing that couldn't be fixed by talking to cleaning crew. Fourth, the host gave us the wrong code to access the house so that caused confusion and after check out I received a call from the host about the doors and locks and was hung up on. It was just disappointing.
