The room was nothing like the picture although it was clean and comfortable and for the time we spent in it adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Was a good location for exploring New York. The breakfast was served on plastic plates with wooden cutlery. Was very crowded.

It was fine but for $750/night I expect a room that doesn’t smell musty and has actual running water. Staff was very responsive and came up quickly to fix water situation. But I still had to run the water to get all the brown gunk out. Iron leaked water all over my clothes. And room needed extra blankets and when I called they said housekeeping was gone for the evening. So I used a bath towel to keep my child warm. Great location for shopping on 5th & by Rockefeller. I liked smaller atmosphere of
hotel & concierge was super nice & helpful!

"Tolle Lage mitten in der Natur am Fischteich. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir haben eine schöne ruhige Nacht auf der Durchreise hier verbracht. Besonders war der balzende Strauss, neben einigen anderen Tieren."
