Property was in a good location. Staff very friendly and cleaning staff done an excellent job during my whole stay. Hotel was very clean too.

The Borneo Eagle is an exclusive five star hotel - newly launched. The staff are excellent, facilities good - the only issue we had was the plethora of sand flies which caused a lot of issues sitting outside. We talked to the Manager about this and understand a machine is being shipped to deal with this issue - also the beach on the offside of the hotel was covered with plastic bottles and rubbish, which should be cleared on a daily basis to support the high quality nature of the hotel.

Great views across the harbour, but a bad smell coming into the bathroom from the drain.

Booked the family suite. Room is spacious with individual air con controls for each room. There are dining options nearby property within walking distance. Property is also very close to the airport.
