The best of service.

A treasure of a hotel in the Douro Valley. Great staff that were accommodating and welcoming. Beautiful property with an amazing view. Personal, excellent service.

A Sweet Spot to Stay in the Douro Valley!

My husband and I only stayed one night here — we wish we could have stayed longer! Our comfortable room had a large terrace overlooking the Douro River, there is a nice swimming pool on the property and the views are beautiful! The included breakfast was delicious and substantial, and the dinner we had there was quite good. This is a family-owned place and the owner’s son Paolo, who is the manager, was very welcoming and kind. We would return!

Hidden Gem

Wonderful surprise! It’s a small (7 rooms) family run business and the grandson Edgar is the English Speaker 😀. View was amazing from the pool terrace and our rooms spacious balcony. Breakfast and dinner were served on site (maybe also lunch but we weren’t there for it). Delicious food prepared by the owner. I wish we had stayed for longer than a night - highly recommended

Hôtel de charme, accueil personnalisé, magnifique vue sur la vallée du Douro de la piscine et de la salle à manger. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées et nous avons apprécié notre terrasse. Nous avons apprécié prendre le repas du soir à l’hôtel et pouvoir faire une randonnée pédestre à partir de l’hôtel ( chercher la PR4 )

Depuis 2 mois je suis dans les hotels pour notre voyage et franchement c est le meilleur hotel que j ai eu. Une entreprise familiale qui aime le service parfait et tout les petites attrention y sont inclus.Merci a Poalo pour son acceuil chaleureux et ces recommandation.Le site est super bien situer au sommet vis a vis le douro , parfait pour les coucher de soleil. Familien bag dette lækre sted var virkelig søde og hjælpsomme. Det er helt nybygget fra foråret 2024, så alt er helt nyt og lækkert, og de holder en høj standard indenfor rengøring både ude og inde. Vi kan kun anbefale at bo her.

vue à couper le souffle et acceuil VIP

endroit magnifique, entretenu et décoré avec beaucoup de soin et de gout. la vue sur la vallée et le Douro est sublime avec des couleurs différentes selon l'heure du jour. l'accueil par les propriétaires et leur famille a été au petit soin pour nous et et tous les clients: on se sentait invité. la chambre est spacieuse avec un coin terrasse tres appréciable. le lit est tres confortable, le rideau électrique est aussi un plus et le placard penderie immense. la douche est grande avec tout ce dont on besoin , même un kit rasoir jetable.peignoir et serviette de piscine + chaussons. la piscine est tres agréable, propre, chauffée, avec une vue sur la vallée. nous sommes restés deux nuits et avons pris nos diner les deux soirs: ce fut une tres belle expérience copieux et cuisine portugaise viande et poisson, les desserts tres bons aussi. le vins rouge réservé et le blanc sont aussi tres bons, le tout pour un prix tres raisonnable. le petit déjeuner préparé le matin même avec des fruits coupes frais devant nous, le gâteau maison aussi. nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. une adresse a retenir.

Gîte familial géré par les enfants du propriétaire . Tout est fait pour qu’on soit comme à la maison . On s’y sent vraiment très très bien et les gens sont amicaux . Que dire de la restauration sur place … c’est juste WOW !!! Cuisine rustique exécuté encore là par un membre de la famille et rempli de saveurs !! Mmmm !!! Site extrêmement propre … chambre récente avec climatisation qui fonctionne et couette pour le lit . Produits de bain en quantité . La vue est sublime et on y voit le coucher du soleil sur les vignobles de la montagne . Je recommande fortement !!!! Le seul hic , c’est quand même assez haut dans la montagne donc ne compter pas vous y rendre à pieds , prenez un taxi et pour voir les vignobles tout près , c’est préférable aussi .
