Excellent little hotel with wonderful staff! The room was very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Close to lots of shops, restaurants and tachikawa station only a few minutes walk. Would highly recommended. And thank you so much to the staff member who walked us to the station to help us get a taxi!
Clean rooms, fresh linen daily, small local breakfast was great, the people were the most hospitable I have ever seen at a hotel, and they smiled every day when you saw them and greeted us warmly every passing in the hallways.
Room was nice and clean. Always had clean towels and toiletries for us, everyday. Small robes were fantastic. Small breakfast every mor ing was great as well. Hospitable and polite in every interaction.
Only 2min. to Tchikawa station!
You can enjoy shopping and dinning! Entrance area is very old fashoned. Free breakfast is not great but so so nbut its free.
I use business hotels every month because I usually need a bed, a shower and a wifi connection. This time, as it was a family travel, I wanted to use a better hotel. "Regent Hotel" sounds great, right? But in fact it's just not even as good compared to the business hotels I'm using. The breakfast is terrible, you have a tiny corner, say 1.5 x 1.5 meter shelf beside the front counter, and you have to take your tray to your room as in the good old days of COVID. There is no coffee. At least what they call coffe looks like the rince juice of a coffee maker than actual coffee. The dough of the bread rolls looked like croissant dough, but it was made using margarin, not butter. Beside this, the price displayed on Expedia is NOT what you will ultimately pay. There are so-called "taxes" which don't correspond to the usual stay tax. The overnight tax should be 200 yens in the price range of that hotel. For 2, it should have been 400, but I had to pay 1767 yens. I wouldn't care, would it have been a devent stay.
So if you cumulate deceptive advertisement (wrong price), no breakfast and business hotel level comfort for about twice the price as a regular business hotel, the conclusion is simple: NEVER AGAIN.
Usually I do hotel chains I use before. First time trying this hotel.
Ok
1. The breakfast is just bread coffee and rice balls. Nothing fancy
2. Room layout is different but I liked it
3. Tv has YouTube
4. Bathtub is bigger than toyoko and APA
Not bad
