"After a few days in the sweltering heat of Marrakech, Dar Do provided a very welcome escape. We all loved the house, it was very spacious and had plenty of space for our party of 6. Everything we needed for our 10-day stay was provided and Said was on hand to help with any requests we had. The swimming pool was fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend it."

"We rented the property for four nights. The property was covered in dust. The pool was coverd with dirt, pool black worms and dead bugs. Our kids didn't feel safe to swim of course. I reminded the host frequently to come and clean. Finally, the pool was cleaned somehow by the third day. The interior of the house was dusty- spiders and Cocroaches everywhere. "Wonderful stay, Patrick was always there to give advice before we arrived. The villa was beautiful rural but an oasis behind the gates. Said was on hand all the time for anything we needed, exceptional host. Plenty of space for all 10 of us, the tortoises were a joy Without hesitation i would return!inheartbeat"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Kamal’s place. The property is beautiful and spacious. Everything was comfortable and clean. The place is around 20 minutes drive from Essaouira so a car is helpful. It is a wonderful calm oasis to come back to after a day sightseeing. Essaouira is a fantastic little place. The medina is full of amazing places to eat and drink and shop. You get a real flavour of Morocco. Qe would love to come back soon! "

"The hotel was not good. The towels were shockingly old, the pillows REALLY old and the rooms uncomfortable. The whole stay was uncomfortable and shockingly bad for the price they were charging. The service was incredible. Mohammed was amazing. But I feel the owners of Villa Daba whom we never saw must be overcharging and letting the hotel go into disarray. The conditions of the room were shockingly old. I've never in my life seen pillows like this, or towels this old. If you're charging this much and insisting on cash payment, you must provide items not from decades ago. Also, it's not Essaouira. It's deceiving. Everywhere it says Villa Daba Essaouira. But it's 15 min from Essaouira. There is nothing close. Nothing. And the villa only offers a breakfast and that's it. The rooms are really hot and became insufferable at night, you can't open windows, no screens and lots of bugs. Tourist trap. We got a really bad rash from the pool and shower gel. Avoid."
