「The house was perfect for us. The laminate floor is buckling due to assumed water damage. We stayed for one night and it was everything we needed.」

「We stayed here for 2 nights to visit with family, the house was very clean and comfortable. The weather during our stay was over 100 degrees, so the pool was very refreshing. Our host was very easy to contact, we had no issues during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!」

「Would recommend and rent from again, had a great time and enjoyed my stay.」

「The place was as pictured. Wasn’t as clean as I would like, there was dried spilled red something on baseboards, used soiled sponges to wash dishes. No washcloths. No plug in lights no mirror or clocks except bathroom. Pigeon poop everywhere outside and crickets. The beds were comfortable and the host provided coffee and some snacks, that was thoughtful also provided condiments in fridge.」

「We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a tropical getaway and not like we were in town at all. The home was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and had such a relaxing atmosphere. The backyard, hot tub, and outdoor space made it the perfect place to celebrate my birthday with family. The location was also amazing. There are plenty of stores, restaurants, fast food options, and shopping nearby, so if you need anything during your stay, it’s just a short drive away. It was...

「Wonderful home with a very comfortable yard for the dog out back. Tons of room inside and modern appointments.」

「We had a great stay at the Trapper House while in Bakersfield for a family wedding. It was very convenient for our large family, especially since we had four children under the age of 8. The kids loved being able to use the bunk beds, which worked out perfectly for us. The house was comfortable, spacious, and stayed nice and cool even with the temperature reaching around 98 degrees outside. After being out in the heat for the wedding activities, it was great to come back to a cool and relaxing...

「Everything went really good my only recommendation is hire a different cleaner. There were many places in the house that are missed. But that has no bearing on the property or the owner. And if the owner is curious of what areas I am referring to I am available to elaborate.」

「I feel this house has a lot of potential as it’s a nice layout and it does have the nice pool. But the cleanliness left some things to be desired. The bathrooms were clean, which is super important, as were the room rooms in general. But there was a lot of dust in the house looked like it hadn’t had a deep clean in sometime. There was loads of dog poop on the side of the house. At least 30 piles or more. The one bedroom was advertised as having a queen and a twin bed, but actually only had twin...

「roaches , had mold in the bathroom behind toilet and has a weird scent」

「The neighborhood is safe and the neighbors were friendly. I wanted to say there is a beautiful park for kids and walking leashed dogs just 2 blocks away. That was a treasure. The owner responds quickly so things that could have been an issue were not. Really appreciated that.」
