"The Inn at Truckee is clean and centrally located for easy access to the historic town center, new business district and bazillion trails in the area. The continental breakfast is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. I only stay at the Inn at Truckee when I’m in Truckee, CA."

"This was our family’s second year at this beautiful home and we can’t wait to come back next year for our third! Everything was perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids aged 2-13). Wonderful kitchen with everything you could possibly need, comfortable beds with nice linens, lots of extra towels, tasteful furnishings, beautiful bathrooms, rec room with big tv and foosball table. We didn’t have much snow this year for skiing, but that allowed us to sit out on the deck and soak up the mountain air and stargaze at night. We all had such a great, relaxing trip. Owner is great - very responsive. Thank you Aaron - hope we can come back in 2027!"

"Great place to stay! Perfect for a group of friends. The driveway is a bit tricky, if it was icier we would have struggled to get in. That would’ve been nice to know ahead of booking. Other than that, phenomenal place."

"Bob’s house was spacious, comfortable, and felt like a real home. There was plenty of space for our family, and the spacious and natural backyard was perfect for sledding and snow play. "

"Our group had a wonderful stay at the Pet-Friendly Mountain Retreat. The rooms are comfortable and an ample size (especially the primary suite!) The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to make dinner for 7 people. After a long day of skiing at nearby Palisades, the hot tub was a perfect touch. The property manager was communicative, checking in to see if there was anything else we needed (there wasn't because all was provided!) We would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved everything about this home except the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. Our larger children were afraid to sleep on the beds because the sign said they only accommodate people under 100 pounds so it felt unsafe. The sign said if they broke, we were responsible for the beds so we did not sleep on them like planned. Other than that, this house is great and we loved our stay there!"
