"This was a last minute decision as the first place canceled for no apparent reasons . So to find a place this nice and to have such a smooth check in was a A in my book. The home was nice and well stocked other a few minor things the stay was great and would definitely book again. Thanks"

"We had a wonderful family gathering of three generations at this home. The open layout, comfy living space, and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our needs. The location near Truckee and Donner Lake were exactly what we were hoping for and the access to the local recreation clubs were a huge contribution to our enjoyment (my 7 year old granddaughter was in water every day and loved each option!).We had a couple needs while there and the management handled them well and quickly. Using the home was easy and everything was explained well. It was clean and well-maintained, even the grill was in great shape.We had a few notes on specifics - there’s no air conditioning, which made the upper floor bedrooms really warm in the heat wave we happened to visit during. The kids’ room needed clothing storage of some kind and we got some splinters from the deck. And the deck was the only way to enjoy the property from outside, especially for little kids.Overall, we’re very happy we visited!"

"Had a great stay of several days. The room and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Mattress and bedding was very comfortable even though I have a sore back from time to time. Did not negatively impact my back at all!!! Plenty of hot water for showers - no issues at all. Staff on duty (Liam, the manager) was very helpful with local suggestions of places to go and things to do. I would without hesitation book here again!! The area has plenty of things to do and see all year round --- hiking, skiing, exploring, boating, sport fishing, river rafting, etc. There was even a rodeo nearby during my stay, including a concert. Movie theaters pretty close by also if it's a rainy day. Numerous good places to eat --- even a bakery/breakfast-lunch kitchen next door and a place to rent a kayak or bicycles. Terrific hotel and location."

"The host was very timely in her responses when we had a few questions and she was quick to address our concerns. It is a small cabin/house that sits in a perfect location. The cabin/house was cozy. We would definitely stay there again."

"My family enjoyed our summer stay at this property. The kitchen is really well appointed for someone who likes to cook, the movie room was a huge hit with the kiddo, and everything was comfortable. Wifi is spotty, but we learned it is like that across Tahoe Donner. Not listed is the fact that they do have a lot of tower fans which came in handy when it was warm out. Location is great too -- close to Tahoe Donner community, quick access to downtown Truckee and Donner Lake."

"Location was close to shopping center, Truckee and lake. Hiking trail near by. Only one comment the stairs are very steep and might be hard for an older dog unless they use the back ones. Every thing you need is there. Loved it."
