We had a wonderful time. The snow was perfect and the view is great. They had just got a dump of snow prior to us getting there but the driveway was plowed and the house was ready for us.
We loved staying at this location! Very conveniently located to Palisades, where we skied. Amazing spot for our group of 16, would definitely recommend!
Beautiful property and check in was seamless. Hot tub in the back deck/trees was amazing, and plenty of beds to go around for our party of 11. Would go back in a heartbeat!
The house overall was exactly as the pictures, everything clean and working, we had a really easy check in - check out process and we had great family time in the cabin.
My ski club had a great stay. Elle, the property manager, could not have been more accessible. The owner kindly allowed us to occupy the house early because of an incoming storm. I highly recommend this property and hope to return with friends or family someday.
Really nice area, close to stores and places to eat. The cabin was great, roomy, and the hot tub definitely a plus. The bathtub in the master bedroom was a favorite forsure, and the fireplace, (although not used) was amazing. Appreciate the host for being available and taking care of us along the way, thank you!
Great lodge for my group of ski buddies who wanted to explore a couple different mountains in the area. Well equipped to cook for big groups and had shovels and snow blowers to help dig out from the big storm we had
This was our annual family snow trip. We all had a great time. We enjoyed sledding, snowball fights and building snowmen. The property was clean and well maintained. Big enough for the whole clan. Thank you for a great time and lots of memories.
The house was very clean and was stocked with everything needed to cook and be comfortable throughout our stay. It was very spacious and in a convenient location close to town. The hot tub was clean and great after a long day of hiking. Communication with the host was very easy and quick. We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. Truckee is a fun little town with yummy food and lots to do.
We celebrated my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary over Thanksgiving. Ten people total, 3 generations. Plenty of parking for 5 cars+, easy to find location, 5 minutes to town and the freeway, a few more to downtown. 5 bedrooms were plenty spacious for the ten of us. The cabin is gorgeous. Only issues were the mattresses are overdue to be replaced (and I think they are in the process of doing that), and the living room and kitchen and master bedroom are up a set of stairs. Climbing those stairs for anyone mobility challenged will be difficult. And I carried the luggage and ice chest full of food up the stairs for my 80 year old parents.
The house was big, beautiful and inviting. Perfect for our big group to gather. It is in a great location to ski Sugar Bowl and to go into Truckee. Close to Reno airport.
The property was great! I would just say that if you’re going for Christmas bring some extra Christmas tree lights. The tree lights went out on the tree the day we got there.
Stayed with all five of my siblings and theirs partners/children (17 people in total) and had plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen and living area were great, very easy to drive to everywhere we wanted to go, and was a great time.
We appreciated that this rental was true to its listing in terms of bedrooms/beds and baths, as we had a group of 10 men. The accommodations were very nice and the check-in/check-out process was very simple. Location was in a very nice neighborhood with easy access. Only drawback - signing a contract due to HOA (should be covered by vrbo agreement and insurance) and the fact that it took 3 weeks to see if I would get my deposit back - far too long for them to consider a claim for damage (again, we had the insurance). Overall, we gave this 5-stars for the accommodations, but they need to ditch the paperwork and extended deposit recovery.
We had a blast. Great house!! One neighbor was very rude and would not let us sled so that really negatively effected the stay hit everything was amazing.
