“Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.) No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather. Fans are provided if needed otherwise ceiling fans are installed. Nice to have private hot tub and private pool, sauna and……

“Checking in was a disaster. Their staff have no clue what they're doing. It took 45 minutes to get our room keys. We ended up needing a 2nd room and ran into the exact same problem with different staff. I asked for the manager and he just gave me excuses and attitude. We will never step foot in ANY Ceaser's owned establishment ever again after this experience. ZERO star experience! NOT RECCOMENDED.”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. We haven't tried the hotel next door as an alternative for dinner M-W, but that's basically your only option. For decent coffee, there is Mad……
