Sugar Pine Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was a cozy well equipped unit with thoughtful touches. Our group was 3 adults plus a large dog. Best part was that you could walk only a few feet and have access to extensive trails and fun hikes in the snow.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

Reviewer Comments: It’s not often that we want to stay somewhere longer than the duration of our planned stay, but staying at Goetzl was so spectacular we easily would have stayed for longer. Everything was exactly as was depicted in the photos; it was essentially a cozy, showroom-esque cabin. It was so peaceful, unbelievably quiet, and the view from the patio was lovely! Everything we needed was provided, and the layout of the rooms and content of the kitchen were well thought out. The firewood was a bit damp, but we bought some duralogs and fire starter, and that did the trick to get everything going! We left one duralog, an extra lighter, and a box of fire starter to help make things easier for anyone staying after us. Highly recommend staying here. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Cabin and great location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Goetzl. It's in a great location and walkable to the lake and easy drive to Meeks Beach.

Great home to stay at, very clean, extra bear security around house, close to water sport rentals, watch for moths getting in the doors at night . Quiet area. Nice deck and furniture for eating outside. thanks

Great Weekend in Tahoma

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at the Goetzl cabin in Tahoma. The location is great! The lot next door is a Tahoe Conservancy lot so the cabin is quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked and even had sharp knives for cooking! We enjoyed the deck and used the BBQ which was also very clean. We hiked Mt. Tallac while we were there and also went to Meek's Beach which are close to the cabin. Chamber's Landing was about a 20 minute walk which was also nice. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again!

Great dog friendly retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The updated kitchen and bbq on the deck were great for summer nights. The house is fully stocked with pretty much everything you would need. Upstairs did get hot during the day but fans and windows helped cool off for sleeping. Would stay here again.

Great tahoe getaway

The property was excellent beds were very comfortable everything was in good shape. I would just suggest replacing the couch and the chairs the family room other than that it was fantastic.

Great location and nice size for our family of 6

We visit Tahoe every year for Christmas and love staying on the Westside. This cabin was in a perfect location backed up against the state park for nice long walks and awesome sledding. As far as the cabin - it was equipped with most everything you would need to cook your own meals and enjoy a warm fire and a cup of cocoa. The beds were super, super comfortable with cozy comforters, blankets and pillows. We were however disappointed that the oven was not working properly and would not heat past 200 degrees. This was a major let down because I couldn't cook our traditional Christmas dinner. Finally, I would ask that the management/housekeeping stay true to their word on paper products - contract says there will be 2 rolls of tp in each bathroom and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. There was neither and only what was left from the last guests, which was not enough for our family. Maybe housekeeping forgot to stock? Regardless, it was disappointing to have to run back to the market to pick up those items when they should've been stocked. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay!
