「The hotel was very clean and comfortable. There were all the amenities I needed and small luxuries such as automated curtains, heated toilet seat, mini bar fridge etc. The location was also great for what I needed and had a shopping mall at walking distance. Would highly recommend.」

「Loved my stay! Location is great and offers easy access walking to the canals and gardens. “Jack” and his wife were so amazing and a highlight of the visit. I highly recommend a stay overnight in Tongli to experience the market, canals, gardens and locals in the morning before all the tours arrive and in the evening after they’ve all left for the day.」

「Best part of historic town, very idyllic, beautiful authentic wooden apartment, nice view to the river, extremely friendly host, highly recommended.」

「Property does not exist at the location stated in the google map and nearby landmarks are fake. This is 45 min away from people’s square in shanghai via car! We requested cancellation and will be waiting for refund. Absolute scam!」
