“This was an awesome place with a great location. Close to transit but few tourists. It was perfect for our family of four. (The futons were so comfortable, we bought the same one for our bed when we got home.) Would highly recommend!”

“The accommodation was in a good location, but the bed was very average, with a very thin blanket that was not warm enough for the colder nights. The pillows were also pancake thin. Once checked in, we had no way of communicating with the owners to ask for a warmer blanker, other than talking to the bar staff at night. “Pros: Good size for Japan standards and quiet neighborhood. Cons: I reached out to property via Expedia and the WhatsApp (directed in the house manual) with some questions and never heard back (stayed there 4 nights). Chairs had old noodles on them, the bathroom reeked of mildew due to shower head leaking behind tub on to a ton of cords. Water pressure of shower was so bad, I had to rinse my hair in the sink (literally a tv bathroom shower head). Also, most annoying is that the closest……

“Easy check-in and close to restaurants and stores. Great communication. Unfortunately, we didn't get much sleep. People above had two small children that were awake at 1-2am jumping, yelling, and playing with toys across the floor. ”

“So close to Ueno Park and the massive market which was fun! Very lively bar scene in the immediate area at night which wasn’t our thing but we were not bothered, you could hear people on the street and music down the street. didn’t bother us for sleeping at all. lots of food options right around, really neat to have the deck areas ”
