Peaceful cabin with great amenities and easy access to Talkeetna

We had a fantastic weekend stay at the Denali House. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hot tub, fire pit, and grill area are shared but easy to access and never felt crowded. The property is in a quiet wooded setting about a 30–40 minute walk from downtown Talkeetna. We enjoyed great weather, listened to live music in town, and had a beautiful flightseeing tour with K2 Aviation that included a glacier landing. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing base with a nice balance of privacy and proximity to town.

Highly recommend Denali House

Denail house was beautiful, very clean and no clutter. It's within walking distance to town. The host was excellent! The hot tub an added bonus! Talkeetna is a charming little town with an exceptional view of Denali. I highly recommend Denali House and the host.

Cute little place

New, comfortable, and adorable setup with the other units. They obviously put a ton of thought into this place. Hot tub was glorious after a day of hiking. We also had the honor of meeting Kips, a friendly neighborhood cat, who was a highlight of our trip. Would gladly stay here again.

The Talkeetna Denali House is excellent accommodations. The house and grounds appear to be a new construction build with updated appliances and amenities. The hot tub was an extra bonus that added to the comfortable stay. Communication with the owners was clear, concise, and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Denali cottage for one night while in Talkeetna for an excursion. The property was brand new and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We weren’t sure we would like the shared common area, but enjoyed the fire pit with our neighbors who were nice people from South Carolina. Overall a really great experience.

Cute little house that made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, we only got to stay for one night so we didn’t get to enjoy the jacuzzi and the outside sitting area that had a grill and a place for a fire. Maybe we will get to come back someday.

New and pristine. Lovely neighborhood to walk around and pick wildflowers. Wished we could stay longer. Kitchen is adorable but could use some more sturdy dishes and tools.

This is a fantastic rental house- very new, clean, comfortable, and bright. Takes about 15 minutes to walk to town, which we did (we didn’t have a car) or you can rent bikes in town for a shorter trip, which we did one day. One bedroom downstairs, and the primary and twin upstairs - worked great for our family of 5. Sheila, the manager, was quick to respond and even brought us a grocery item we inquired about getting. This is definitely among the very top vacation rentals I’ve visited!

Hidden Gem

Beautiful and clean little house with everything you could need for a few days or even longer. We traveled as a family of 5 and our teenagers were all comfortable. The staff managing is very friendly and was willing to accommodate us to help make our trip smoother. If you’re worried about transportation from the train, don’t be, there is a local taxi that will happily pick you up and bring you to the home. The house is only a few minutes drive from the train station. Also an especially nice feature, if your willing to walk about 15 minutes on a well marked trail, you can walk from the house to Main Street in downtown Talkeetna. Very pleasant and quiet as well - we saw some neighbors a few times using the hot tub in the courtyard of the group of homes. They also have a grill and a fire-pit if you are inclined. Would stay again.
