“Jim's spot was the perfect place to call home while exploring Talkeetna. Not too far from the town but also so secluded and quiet. “This home is by far the nicest one we’ve stayed at on our many visits to Alaska!! It is immaculate and well stocked, down to the soft comfy blankets to snuggle under. The beds are queens and a king, which is hard to find, and bathrooms were roomy and stocked with shower toiletries. The hilltop setting makes you feel like you are in a treehouse; we loved sitting on the deck and listening to the birds. It’s a perfect location, too, just a quick hop into downtown Talkeetna and to lots of hiking……

“This is a fantastic rental house- very new, clean, comfortable, and bright. Takes about 15 minutes to walk to town, which we did (we didn’t have a car) or you can rent bikes in town for a shorter trip, which we did one day. One bedroom downstairs, and the primary and twin upstairs - worked great for our family of 5. Sheila, the manager, was quick to respond and even brought us a grocery item we inquired about getting. This is definitely among the very top vacation rentals I’ve visited!”
