The cabin was cute and cozy and so convenient for going to town. The property owners were very welcoming and look like they are working on some nice property upgrades. Definitely take advantage of the hot tub - it was perfect!

This cabin is absolutely adorable. We had three people in a party and there was enough space for us to sleep comfortably. We unfortunately did not get to use the hot tub.

Comfortable stay, good location

We took the train to Talkeetna and walked to the property from there. The walk was not bad, though I wouldn’t want to do it with roller luggage. The cabin and host were great. Everything was clean and in good working order. The Hot tub was great at the end of the day and we enjoyed our very short walk to downtown Talkeetna, we causally walked back and forth 4 times without any issues.

Wow! Worth it!

We stayed in "Sourdough" and were impressed by the small touches of comfort- coffee pods and cream in the fridge, Turkish towels, a thorough welcome notebook... The place is brand new and shows care in craftsmanship. The cabin has super comfortable beds, and stays very warm and cozy. Great set up for a get away weekend for friends or families. The hot tub can't be beat! Two thumbs up and five stars for sure!

Overall, the cabin was nice and accommodating. There were some unappealing stains on the sofa. I had difficulty communicating to confirm our reservation - got no response. Other than that, check-in was fine. There was a point that I felt like we were being watched by the property manager - which gave me an uneasy feeling. My husband and I used the hot tub (very nice). It was not covered when we got in, so it slipped our mind to cover it upon exiting. Shortly thereafter, I received a personalized text saying “I’m glad you and your husband enjoyed the hot tub, but please cover it.” We went out to cover the tub but saw that it had already been covered. This is not that big of an issue, but admittedly the personalized text and the timing of it creeped me out. Sending a general reminder text stating that “all guests should cover the hot tub after use” would have been a better option, IMO.
