The daily breakfast menu was our favourite breakfast on this trip to Sri Lanka. The entire property is exceptional. We can’t wait to return. 」

「This property is a rare example where the reality is better than the photos. It is so often the other way around. It is a unique villa, situated right on the beach with a safe and lovely swimming area just down the steps from the back garden. The pool is lovely if you don't fancy going in the sea, and you can walk along to see the green turtles arriving every morning and evening on Thalpe beach. This is one of the most majestic sights. The communication easy and the daily breakfast was a fabulous way to start the day. I couldn't recommend this property enough if you are looking for somewhere central and easy to base your stay in southern Sri Lanka this property is worth a look. 」

「We chose this hotel over others because it seemed to be in a good location and advertised that it had an outdoor pool. However, on arrival we discovered that it doesn't have a pool - they just kept referring to a 'natural swimming area' i.e. the sea. It's also quite a run down and generally depressing place. We ended up cancelling 2 of our 3 nights and moving to another hotel first thing in the morning. I can't say much about the location as we didn't stay long enough to explore it.」

Det är ett nedgånget och slitet hotell där rummet vi fick hade stått oanvänt i månader. Vi fick be dem komma och ta bort spindel och spindelnät från sängen och att städa hela badrummet.
