You can see the fishing boats from the hotel. About 15 minutes walk in to the main town, recommend tree hugger cafe for coffee and juices. "Very comfortable and modern hotel located close to the riverside and about 1 km from beach where you can swim. Riverside is lined with restaurants serving seafood. You can see the fishing boats from the hotel. About 15 minutes walk in to the main town, recommend tree hugger cafe for coffee and juices. The breakfast selection at the hotel was very good mainly Asian style, with bread, meats and jams plus omelette station, fruits and mini cakes. The roof top pool is very nice for a dip, could have some deck chairs to sit on. Dong Hoi is calmer and quite compared to Hanoi and a place for a night or two while travelling south or as a stop to Phong Nha for the caves. "
