The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. "A lovely spacious apartment as a stopover before hopping on an early morning ferry. Only downside was that when I requested a plug for the bath I was told it was there the night before and that I should take a shower! 😧 Part of this “fawlty towers” moment was the language barrier, and that they also run a restaurant downstairs and seemed overly stretched and understaffed. Mon séjour faisait suite à une étape particulière dans ma vie . Éric m’a accompagnée avec une délicatesse et une écoute exceptionnelles . This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes. One caveat, you must have a car 🚗 Transportation options in rural Normandy are very limited....
