Nice unit at Sailport Resort

We frequently stay at Sailport Resort when we visit my mother. Sailport was sold out so we found a unit on VRBO at Sailport. I do like the idea of knowing which unit you'll be getting prior to check in. This unit overlooks the conservatory where, from the balcony, we watched dolphin, stingrays, and cool birds right from the balcony. Very comfortable chairs on the balcony. At the time of this review, the description says fourth floor. This is inaccurate as the unit is on the 2nd floor which is technically the 1st floor as parking is on the lowestlevel. That wouldn't stop us from booking this unit again as the view was still spectaculaar. Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, and liquid handsoap is provided. If you like bar soap, as I do, pack a bar. Youll also need to use toilet paper as tissues are not provided. Overall, This is a great unit and the view is great watching wildlife right from your balcony. We did get a little nervous as we were not able to communicate with the host through VRBO. We called VRBO and was able to get the contact information for the host who was very responsive. Overall, we would definitely book this unit again just for the wonderful deck chairs. balcony. from t floor.

We were not made aware that there was active construction/demolition going on at the building that was so loud (metal grinding, welding generator, rock crushing, etc.) it could be heard over the TV inside the unit. The outside balcony was not usable due to the noise. In addition, the beach across the bay had blaring music all day that also ruined the peace. A biker convention converged the night we arrived and a loud party went on till 1:00 am. I couldn't hear myself think, much less enjoy. AND the property clerk in the "welcome center" was rude, condescending, dismissive and should be fired. On the up side, the rental management company did agree to forgo the charge.
