"Quiet air conditioner was a plus! Clean, great location for walking and shopping."

"Very small basic room but it was clean and all that we needed for our overnights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a full hot buffet which was great. The hot tub was small and in the fitness room which was strange but we still used it. "

"Beautiful view. Room was clean and quiet. Only downfall was no elevator, which we knew of but didn't realize lobby was on 5th floor and complimentary breakfast/ restaurant was on 3rd floor. So no matter what floor you were on you had to go up 3 sets of stairs. My bad for not checking further into it."

"The Painter’s Lodge was a decent place to stay at for the night. While the place is a dated and needs a few upgrades, the place was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing! The beds were comfortable enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a good option! "

"Bed was comfortable and the floors seemed cleaned. I used to always go to this hotel many many years ago and it was so pristine and tidy. This time it kind of has a hostel vibe. This once beautiful boutique hotel is looking pretty rough and will not be going back. Such a shame because it right across from the water and in such a beautiful spot. My room was right beside a fire door that kept on opening and closing - which felt like all night - so quite noisy. .got underground parking which was nice. The free breakfast that was served look nice - but I didn't eat anything. Check in and check out was uneventful. "
