"Hyatt Place Herndon/Dulles Airport-East at 13711 Sayward Blvd, Herndon, VA 20171, United States This is a typical nicer upscale hotel close to the airport. Elevator access to rooms on each floor from inside of the building. No access to your room from the outside is always what makes it better. The only issue I had was being charged $4 for a bottle of water but the $4 on the cookie 🍪 tasted excellent. Other than that they had a robust continental breakfast which was pretty good each morning. They offered shuttle bus service staff too and from the airport and the front desk staff accommodated one of my requests. The rooms were nice, clean and organized and pretty big for the price. The neighborhood was definitely a bonus to me. Extra plus because they had a wooded area that had a walking trail. This gave me time to meditate and to relax in peace on this journey. Overall I would actually stay at this hotel again in the future. "

"Staff was great. Room was quiet. Bed comfy. Shower was hot. Towels were fluffy. Coffee was good. Breakfast tasty. One item that wasn't so good - the black mold on wall next to shower. When I entered room at 9pm, shower fan was blowing - clearly left on for a reason. Seeing black mold is very off-putting. "

"Called the hotel for the shuttle and had to wait a little while because we had missed the previous shuttle by a few minutes but the front desk sent it back out again to get us right away so it wasn't a bad wait. The hotel is only about 5 minutes from the airport without traffic. I think the shuttle is normally scheduled to leave every half hour since the next day we caught it back to the airport on the half hour. The breakfast had a good variety of food but when I first arrived they hadn't replenished it so had to wait a bit for more food to come. They were very prompt at tearing it down at the end which didn't leave us a lot of time to eat so just keep that in mind. The room was good with a king bed and pull out sofa. There was quite a bit of traffic noise in the room, it might have been the side we were on. A sheetz was next door so it was easy to get food and drinks."
