Amazing villa in a beautiful place

The villa was amazing, perfect for a group of friends who would like to disconnect in the beautiful area of Tarifa. Ana and Rafael were lovely and super welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Peacful haven

A lovely rustic house with beautiful grounds. Property spacious with varied living and sleeping arrangements. Views amazing and within reach of Boligna beach. Only down side was pool a bit too small and walls thin in bexroom but woyld definately reccommend.

Near Tarifa

This is a lovely rustic property in the hills above Bolonia. The views and grounds are beautiful. Things to note: the roads are not paved well as you get near the house and there are stairs. Some of the showers are in buildings that are outside. The manager is very responsive and the place is very relaxing.

Peaceful location, gorgeous view

I am hesitant to share how wonderful this property is beacause we want it all to ourselves! We loved everything about it: proximity to Bolonia and Tarifa, views of Africa, friendly neighborhood burros, nights so quiet you can sleep with the windows open. . . it is now the standard by which we measure all our other family trips. Ana and her crew are kind and responsive. We hope to return soon!

Outstanding house and area

Top 5* review for me as our stay in this house was fantastic. The house itself is very spacious and authentic, well maintained (garden), well equipped and if you need anything, you can always rely on Ana or/and Rafael (neighbour). Despite no one speaks english around, it makes it even more interesting as you end up discussing with everyone in the area and feel you are living a proper spanish experience. Plenty of things to do around: beautiful beaches and dunes, wonderful landscape, hiking path everywhere, stunning view from the first floor, chatting with the neighbourhood, spending time with / watching wild animals (horses, cows...) and very safe as well (neighbours look out for each other). Tarifa is only 20/25min away by car (shopping, exploring, going to Morocco for a day or longer, kitesurfing...). Definitely recommend a stay in this house, thanks Ana and Rafael.

BED BUGS. Stay away!

Ana's house has a beautiful location and we were looking forward to a great stay there. Unfortunately, the location is all what is good about the house and it is completely beyond my understanding why it can be rated 9.6 on VRBO. The bedrooms are infected by BED BUGS! We were bitten several times, found dead and live bed bugs and fled the house as soon as we found out. This has naturally been reported to VRBO, who issued a refund for their service cost for the full stay, whereas the host was only willing to refund the days we did not stay there after we fled. In addition, the cleaning status of the house was not satisfactory and there were shards of glass on the floor and carpet in the lower apartment as well as on the upper balcony. There was a very unpleasant smell throughout the house, to a degree where we found it hard to sleep. The kitchen and bedrooms were full of living ants. The water in the swimming pool is murky, and it cannot be used. STAY AWAY!

Location beautiful. Wonderful for family time. Rafael super helpful and friendly. House not up to expectation. Bedrooms far too small with very thin walls and creaky wooden floors upstairs. Sleeping was not easy. Pool also very small. Photos do not reflect actual size of pool or bedrooms.

Spitzen Unterkunft, wunderschöne Aussicht

Das Areal ist wunderschön. Wir haben jeden Tag sehr genossen… die Sonnenuntergänge sind sehr schön zu sehen und können von der Terrasse genossen werden. Würde ich jedem weiterempfehlen!

Traumhafte Woche mit Blick auf Afrika

Das Haus hat im 1.Stockwerk eine sehr schönes, gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit einer riesigen Terrasse, von der man den Sonnenuntergang und Marokko sehen kann. Großartig. Die 7000 qm sind wunderschön angepflanzt und eingemauert. Daher war es für unsere beiden Hunde ein Paradies und wir waren total entspannt. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, die Badezimmer auch und 2 Badezimmer sind von außen zu begehen. Die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist überflüssig. Die Vermieterin und der Hausmeister Pascal sehr und hilfsbereit.

Beautiful and total relaxation

This place is the best if you want to have peace and if you love animals. The garden is so beautiful! The view from the terrace is amazing and at night you see thousands of stars and even shooting stars. On the property there are chicken where you can collect the eggs in the morning. When you leave the property you find cows, pigs, donkeys and horses. The very nice and helpful neighbor who takes care of the property has very friendly and cute dogs, which may come to visit you 😍. We loved our stay and had a hard time saying good bye!

Casa muy chula en un entorno espectacular

Una casa muy chula, dividida en varias estancias, con una terraza superior espectacular con vistas al Estrecho y al monte, desde donde puedes ver la salida y la puesta del Sol. La piscina no es muy grande pero la zona de hierba alrededor sí lo es, y las siestas ahí son una maravilla, al fresco de su sombra. Allí mismo la barbacoa tiene un techado y una mesa redonda, donde comimos perfectamente 14 personas. La comunicación con Ana, la dueña, muy buena en todo momento, y Rafael, el encargado de la casa, un encanto de persona. Muy atento siempre y muy agradable. La casa está en un parque natural, con un pinar estupendo para practicar la carrera y el ciclismo de montaña (si eres hábil claro) e incluso una zona de escalada cercana (en el pueblo de Betis). Se puede bajar caminando a la zona Norte de la Playa de Bolonia por un sendero del pinar en unos 2 km, pero luego hay que estar dispuesto a subir ;-) La situación de la casa, al final de la carretera, hace que sea muy tranquila y sin ruidos nocturnos de la civilización.

Tranquilidad y vistas preciosas

Hemos pasado unos días en la casa y hemos estado muy agusto. Quizá sería necesaria alguna actualización de baños e insonorización de la planta de arriba y abajo ya que las pisadas por arriba se escuchan demasiado, pero el entorno, la piscina y la tranquilidad merecen la pena. Rafael ha estado muy pendiente de nosotros y ha sido muy amable. Muchas gracias!

Ya es el segundo año que repetimos y estamos encantados con la situación de la casa, sobretodo por las vistas, los exteriores y la tranquilidad del lugar. A pesar de que el interior de la casa necesita una reforma y la limpieza también debería mejorar.

Casi perfecto

La casa es genial. Tiene unas vistas estupendas y la zona es tranquila y retirada. Eso es estupendo si quieres poner música y estar hablando hasta tarde sin molestar a nadie. Acceder no es difícil y está cerquisima de Bolonia. Lo más destacable también es el trato con la dueña. Es muy atenta y flexible nos recomendó tiendas de la zona y Rafael el hombre de mantenimiento que es muy servicial. El único problema es que la casa realmente no es para 14. Diría que solo es cómoda para 10 porque los sofas cama son horribles. La casa estaba limpia y tenía todo el menaje que puedas necesitar. Tiene muchos baños lo que es perfecto para grupos grandes. La piscina es pequeña así que si hace mucho viento en la playa (que es muy probable), sois un grupo grande y muchos queréis entrar a la vez se quedará corta. La zona de la barbacoa y su mesa redonda es ideal para una reunión de amigos. Una de las noches de madrugada de repente empezó a caer agua encima de una de las camas pero no supimos de qué era y no se repitió. La recomendaría sin duda pero para grupos más pequeños.

Une vue incroyable

Très belle maison divisée en 2 logements avec très beau jardin sur plusieurs niveaux et terrasse grande et agréable. Vue incroyable sur la mer, le Maroc, les montagnes. Couchers de soleil de dingue! Maison dans la campagne un peu isolée mais c'est ce que nous cherchions, toutefois facile d'accès. Très proche de Bolonia et à un gros quart d'heure de Tarifa. Maison assez rustique mais restant correctement équipée. Contact facile avec la propriétaire et avec Rafael qui nous a ouvert la maison.

Increible lugar

Casa con mucho encanto y situada en un lugar increíble. Viendo, a cada momento, el paso de los barcos por el estrecho y teniendo tan cerca la playa de Bolonia y sus vacas y caballos. Ana y Rafael nos han tratado con mucha naturalidad, haciendo que nuestra estancia haya sido inolvidable.
