「Really terrific small hotel, with lovely ambiance and beautifully appointed rooms. Excellent food served in extremely attractive dining area. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.」

However, as a hotel there were definitely concerns and functional issues. If it had been more than one night, we would have demanded a refund and left. 「Didn’t use the parking. Bar prices -expensive . Lovely grounds, very peaceful . Room we were in was quite dark and the lighting in it poor otherwise all good . Rooms all different so I think we were just unlucky it was dark and a bit dingy .」

The couples hot tub was perfect and nice to relax in after coming back from lovely walks. Well done to the owners of the Sweet Donside Cabins. We’d love to come back.」
